Hi there! I'm Nicolas. I'm a software engineer currently working in Bern for Netcetera and the developing of our 3-D Secure Issuer Service.

I didn't always work in the software industry (although software was always a passion of mine). I also obtained a PhD in the group of Prof. Ursula Keller at ETH Zurich. I mostly worked on developing a high-power ultrafast optical parametric amplifier (OPCPA) operating in the mid-infrared spectral region. This led to a few publications that you can find on the Publications page.

Aside my job and professional life, I also enjoy going on bicycles holidays. The latest tours can be found on the Travels page. I also play some music.
